Uttar Pradesh government has asked for isolation coaches from Railways with the increasing number of corona virus cases in the country. Railways has already been preparing for the isolation coaches to be deployed across 215 railway stations in the country.
As per the health ministry documentations released in May, the railway department has stalled isolation coaches across 23 states of the country which were to be used in case the hospitals can’t hold the increasing number of Covid-19 patients in the hospitals.
Uttar Pradesh has become the first state to put up the demand of isolation coaches.
