Rising Corona Cases in India Takes it to 5th Spot Internationally

Date:

Due to a sharp increase in the number of corona cases for three consecutive days, India has become the fifth country in the world affected by this epidemic, leaving Spain behind. According to John Hopkins University, there were 2,45,670 patients in India by Saturday night. India surprisingly outpaced Italy and Spain in 24 hours.

9,887 New Corona Cases

According to the Health Ministry data, 9,887 new patients were reported in a day and 294 people died. More than nine thousand new patients are being identified in the country for three consecutive days. As of 8 o’clock on Saturday night, 2,36,657 have been found infected.
At the same time, the figure of the dead has reached 6642. According to the ministry, there are 1,15,942 active patients in the country and 1,14,073 are cured after treatment. In the last 24 hours, 4,611 patients have recovered and gone home. According to the data, 48.20 percent patients have been cured so far.

The United States, Brazil, Russia and Britain are now ahead of India in the case of infected people. However, it is a matter of relief that the death rate from this disease in India is much less than other countries. The death rate is 6% in the US, 5.4% in Brazil, 9.4% in Spain and 14% in Britain and Italy. At the same time, Russia has the lowest percentage of around 1.25%, while the death rate in India is less than three percent.
