Govt’s New Year Gift : LPG Cylinder Price Increased by Rs. 17

Oil companies review the prices of LPG cylinders every month. Tax varies from state to state and LPG prices vary accordingly.

As per the data from IOCL, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has increased. In the country’s capital Delhi, it has increased from Rs 1332 to Rs 1349. That is, it has become expensive by 17 rupees in Delhi. Its price in Kolkata has increased by Rs 22.50 to Rs 1410 from 1387.50. In Mumbai, it has become costlier by Rs 17, from 1280.50 to Rs 1297.50. Its price in Chennai has increased by Rs 16.5 and has gone up from Rs 1446.50 to Rs 1463.50.

No Change in Subsidized LPG Price

Although there had been no change in subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder, whose prices increased twice, the previous month, making the cumulative increase by Rs. 100.
