India has witnessed another big jump on the corona virus. India has reached ninth among the world’s most affected countries and the first place in Asia. Three days earlier, India had fallen to 10th position, outpacing Iran.
According to the WorldMeter website and John Hopkins University, the total number of infected patients in India has increased to 1,63,120 as of Thursday night. Turkey was ranked ninth among the most affected countries before, where the total number of infected patients has reached 1,59,797.
According to experts, if the conditions of corona infection in India remain the same, India will become the seventh most affected country in the world, beating Germany and France in the next two to three days.
Actually, Corona virus has completed 120 days in the country till Thursday. On 16 May, India was ranked 11th, overtaking China and Peru. 8 days later, another jump was made to reach 10th position. Currently, America, Brazil, Russia, Spain, UK, Italy, France and Germany are ahead of India in the list of most affected countries in the world.
