Lockdown implemented in Bhagalpur for 5 days
There has been a lockdown in Bhagalpur due to the increased corona again. The administration has decided to lockdown Bhagalpur district for 5 days. The lockdown will begin in the district from 6 am on July 9, which will continue for the next 5 days. During this period there will be complete lockdown in Municipal Corporation area, Kahalgaon Nagar Panchayat, Navagachia Nagar Panchayat and Sultanganj Municipal Council. However the lockdown will not be maintained in rural areas.
DM Pranab Kumar convened a meeting on Wednesday after a sharp increase in the number of corona virus infections and a lockdown was decided. During this period, the entry of common people into the government office has been banned. The concerned officials of the office will ensure that the employee works on different days. Entities and personnel exiting required work or restoring emergency service are excluded from the scope of the lockdown.
Patna’s Bullion Traders Imposed a 15 day lockdown on themselves
Due to the havoc of Corona in Patna’s rural areas Bihata and Rohtas, bullion traders themselves have imposed a 15-day lockdown. During this time, not a single jewelery shop will be opened in both the areas. In fact, a shopkeeper was found Corona positive in Bakarganj Sunar Mandi in the capital Patna and died. After this, a meeting was called by Bihata Goldsmith Business Association in which it was decided that all the jewelery shops of the block should be closed for 15 days.
On the other hand, gold traders have closed their shops till 13 July as a precaution in view of Corona virus infection. The Swarnakar Sangha of the entire Rohtas district has taken this decision in an organized manner. These people say that corona virus infection is spreading rapidly in Sasaram and for its prevention, a decision has been taken voluntarily for lockdown.
