Corona’s havoc in Uttar Pradesh is not taking its name. On an average 5000 new corona patients are coming in every day. On Wednesday, 5898 new corona infected patients were found in the state, after which now the number of corona infected patients has crossed two lakh in UP. During this time 82 corona patients also died in the state.
This information was given by Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi and Additional Chief Secretary Medical Amit Mohan Prasad. He said that the maximum number of tests in the state has been done on Wednesday. At present, there are 51,317 active cases in the state out of which 25,279 are in home isolation.
On Wednesday, the highest number of infected cases was 759 in Lucknow while the maximum number of 9 deaths occurred in Gorakhpur. Of the 82 deaths on Wednesday, the highest number of deaths occurred in Gorakhpur, nine in Lucknow, eight in Lucknow, six in Saharanpur, five in Maharajganj.
