With 3.62 Lakh Cases and 3285 Deaths, Corona Havoc Continues

After a slight decline in the daily cases of corona in the country, a sharp increase has been registered. Corona havoc continues to increase in the country, as 3 lakh 62 thousand 787 people were found infected with the corona virus on Tuesday, while 3285 patients died. On Tuesday morning, 3.23 lakh cases were reported, but by 12 pm the figure had crossed the 3.62 lakh mark. Earlier on Monday, more than 3.52 lakh cases were registered, while more than 2800 patients succumbed. This is the highest ever since the onset of the epidemic.

The number of infected in the country has increased to 1,79,88,637, while the national recovery rate has fallen to 82.54 percent. According to the Union Health Ministry, the death toll has risen to 2,01,165 with 3285 more deaths due to infection. The number of under-treated patients is also increasing rapidly which is currently 29,72,106, 16.34 percent of the total infected.

So far 2,01,165 people have died due to infection in the country. Of these, 66,179 patients died in Maharashtra, 15,009 in Delhi, 14,807 in Karnataka, 13,728 in Tamil Nadu, 11,678 in Uttar Pradesh, 11,082 in West Bengal, 8630 in Punjab, 7800 in Andhra Pradesh and 7782 in Chhattisgarh.
