The situation has become so grim that this year, the Ramon Magsaysay Award, also called the Nobel of Asia, has to be canceled.
WHO on Cases From South Asia and America
WHO chief Tedross Gabries has said that although the corona situation in Europe is improving, 75 percent of the world’s cases are coming from both South Asia and the Americas. He said that in the last ten days, more than one lakh cases have been recorded daily for nine days.
