The Supreme Court on Monday postponed the hearing of a corruption case against former Noida Chief Engineer Yadav Singh for two weeks. A bench of Justice RF Narimanukh Justice Naveen Sinha and Justice BR Gavai found that the Allahabad High Court is already scheduled to hear the matter on June 12.
The High Court had earlier ordered daily hearing of the case through video conferencing. Yadav Singh approached the Supreme Court against this. The Supreme Court said that on June 12, during the hearing of the case in the Allahabad High Court, you tighten your objection. Yadav Singh is accused in the case of earning more benami assets from his sources of income. The CBI had said that he had created this property between 2004 and 2015. The income of Yadav Singh and his wife increased 500 and 1400 times respectively.
