In the last 24 hours in the country, 36,145 people suffering from Covid-19 have been cured. This is the highest number of people recovering from this infection in one day. The Union Health Ministry said on Sunday that the recovery rate from Corona has increased to 63.92 percent.
The Health Ministry also said that the death rate due to Covid-19 has also fallen to 2.31 per cent. Covid-19 cases in the country reached 13,85,522 on Sunday. With this, the number of people recovering also increased to 8,85,576.
The number of people now recovering in the country is 4,17,694 more than the patients being treated. According to the ministry, the number of cured patients is 1.89 times more than the patients undergoing treatment. With this, a record over 4,40,000 investigations were conducted in the country within a day.
So far, more than 16 million tests of Covid-19 have been done in the country. The Ministry of Health said in a statement, “For the first time government laboratories examined a record 3,62,153 samples. Private laboratories also examined 79,878 samples in a single day. ‘
