HDFC

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has banned the digital services of private sector bank HDFC (HDFC). RBI issued an order on 02 December, banning internet banking, mobile banking and payment utility services.

Apart from this, the central bank has asked HDFC customers not to make new credit cards. In the last 2 years, customers of HDFC Bank have faced many problems in digital service, due to which the central bank has taken this step.

Apart from this, the RBI has also taken note of the outage on November 21 due to power disruptions in the primary data center of HDFC.

Banking regulator Reserve Bank of India has sought a response from HDFC Bank. Recently, due to a problem in the digital banking service of HDFC Bank, UPI payment, ATM payment and card channel payment were also closed for many hours.
