Rahul Gandhi Takes a Dig on PM over Indian Army-PLA Clash in Sikkim

Date:

Against the ongoing deadlock between India and China, once again former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has said that China is increasing its occupation in Indian territory, but PM Modi has kept silence on China for months. Rahul tweeted tauntingly that ‘Mr. 56’ is silent about China for months.

On Monday, it was reported that there was a clash between the soldiers of India and China in Sikkim’s Naku La sector on January 20, in which soldiers on both sides were injured. However, the Indian Army later said that it was not a major incident, but rather a case of sporadic violence that had been resolved by the military authorities.

Earlier on Sunday, Rahul Gandhi also targeted PM Modi during his visit to Tamil Nadu. He had said, ‘For the first time the people of India are seeing that the Chinese army is occupying Indian territories. Today when we are talking here, thousands of Chinese soldiers are occupying our territories at that time and a person with a 56 inch chest cannot even take the name of China. This is the reality of our country.
