Not just hitting out government of various policies via twitter and sharing bits of conversations with laureates of diverse fields on his newly launched youtube channel, the former Congress President has started his telegram channel last month through which he is connecting with the workers of the party directly. This telegram channel is being considered as a leap step to connect with the grass root workers and volunteers of the party, so as the former Congress President’s message reaches to them directly.

The telegram channel, which was started in the last week of June currently has more than 15,000 followers and will soon get verified.

The increased outreach on social media is of utmost importance in the time of social distancing where any large scale political engagements is not possible and social media has become the only medium to engage with audience.
