Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, while campaigning for the assembly elections in Kerala on April 6, targeted the state’s CPI-M led LDF government on Tuesday, saying that it is a government of ‘frauds and scams’, and told that the LDF government is following the manifesto of industrialists.
She criticized the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for their alleged harassment of Kerala nuns during a train trip in Uttar Pradesh, claiming that Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the incident as it was election time.
Priyanka is on a two-day visit to Kerala and has addressed several public meetings and road shows. The Congress general secretary is visiting the state at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also in the state and addressed a public meeting in Palakkad where BJP has fielded ‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan.
