Congress General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh incharge Priyanka Gandhi has called for a virtual meeting of Uttar Pradesh Congress leaders on Saturday to discuss the issue of law and order situation in UP.

This meeting is in lieu of the eight police personnel including DSP Devendra Mishra who lost their lives during an encounter with criminals when they had gone to raid history-sheeter Vikas Dubey’s house.

It is being told that prominent leaders of UP Congress including Advisory Group, CLP Leader, PCC presient and other prominent leaders will discuss the law and order situation with her.

The state congress unit has asked party workers to light candles outside their houses to pay tribute to the policemen who sacrificed their lives. Yesterday’s incident has raised serious questions over the law and order failure in the state and opposition parties are taking over the Yogi government for the poor law and order condition in the state.
