MANILA |Few of the Philippine soldiers and cabinet ministers have already received corona vaccine even before the regulatory approval. The statement was issued by the country’s health ministry. The ministry added that the approval was vital in order to ensure safety.
According to Interior minister, Eduardo Ano, some cabinet ministers and army chief, Lt General Cirilito added some troops have already been vaccinated, although the number of people was very less. Suspense remains on the brand of vaccine which was used.
The head of Food and Drug Administration, Rolando Enrique Domingo said that the Philippine regulators are yet to approve any Covid-19 vaccine and the import, distribution and sale of any Covid vaccine is illegal.
