New Delhi| There are times in the course of politics, when you keep on neglecting a person. There are times, when you do not consider a person’s advice worth considering. There are times that people after reaching a pinnacle of success, consider themselves above others in all aspects. Probably, Narendra Modi government has also fallen into the trap.
Talking about COVID-19, Rahul Gandhi has been constantly warning the government as before as February 12, about the impacts corona virus could have on the people of the country, the economy, especially the weaker sections of the society. But, as usual, Narendra Modi government didn’t take it seriously.
Now, the intellectuals have started noticing this and cornering the Central Government, for not taking his advice seriously.
In the run, bollywood actress Pooja Bedi, has slammed the BJP government for not taking Rahul’s advice seriously. She claims, that had the advice been paid some attention, the things could have been controlled. She admits, that we are a month lagging which has costed a lot. Same sentiment can be observed in a few journalists from media.
All those of you who didnt take @RahulGandhi seriously on FEB 12th… just know we could have had this under control if @BJP4India govt had taken heed of his warning. We are a month late kicking into action.. a very costly month!!! https://t.co/0ZCoBaUmuC
