Corona virus cases are increasing at a very rapid rate in India. As per the latest information, the number of patients suffering from this disease has increased to 433 and 8 people have lost their life. Where at one place government is taking measures like lockdown and curfew, vehicle manufacting giant, Mahindra Group’s chairman Anand Mahindra has decided to donate his entire salary to fight against the menace of COVID-19.
Anand Mahindra in an official tweet from his twitter handle has made this annoucement. He has also appealed other people to come forward for the noble cause.
—We will encourage associates to voluntarily contribute to the Fund. I will contribute 100% of my salary to it & will add more over the next few months. I urge all our various businesses to also set aside contributions for those who are the hardest hit in their ecosystems (5/5)

Besides donating his salary, Anand Mahindra has made a declaration that his company will also manufacture ventilator systems. Besides this, all the resorts under Mahindra Holidays can be used as temporary care facilities where people suffering from Corona virus can be treated.
After the outbreak of the pandemic, many vehicle manufacturing companies have shut down their units. This include Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Honda Cars India. India is under the second stage of this pandemic and next few hours are very crucial. Experts are of the opinion that if this disease reaches third stage, then it will become very difficult situation.
