New Delhi| Being labor has become a crime in New India. Whereas, the rest of the country is sitting at home and enjoying the mythological TV serials like Mahabharata or Ramayana, the second side of the story shows how poor exodus labors are walking hundreds of kilometers to their native place, without food, along with their family and burden of responsibilities on their head.

At the stroke of the hour, when PM Modi faced the country, via television, on 23rd March, he announced a 21 day lockdown for the entire nation, without even giving a thought about the poor and the deprived, who might not have enough to purchase the ration for 21 days, as most of them are daily labors and do not have a purchasing power to buy this much ration at a single go.

When whatever they had with them, got over, these poor exodus labor, began a journey to their native place without giving a second thought about anything, all without food and water. In the long journey, while some died due to hunger, some died due to accident by Tempo-truck. In the 6 days of lockdown, 34 people including 29 labors have lost their lives on the way back to home. The point to be noted is, novel corona virus has killed 39 lives in the country.

It is not corona, but the man made hunger due to the fear of corona has led to these deaths
