73 Percent Population Devoid of Any Upliftment : Rahul Gandhi Roars in Patna

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday alleged that the central government is ignoring 73 percent of the population from the deprived sections of the society. Addressing the ‘Jan Vishwas’ rally of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) organized in Patna, the capital of Bihar, Gandhi alleged that injustice is being done to farmers, youth and the underprivileged in the country.

The Congress leader termed the Central Government’s ‘Agniveer’ scheme against the youth of the country and said that on the martyrdom of those getting jobs under it, they will not be able to get government assistance on the lines of other martyrs. He said, “Whenever there is any (political) change in the country, its storm starts from Bihar and this storm has spread to other parts of the country as well. Bihar is the political center of the country.

Rahul Gandhi said that a party is trying to create hatred, but we are “setting up a shop of love in the market of hatred.” This rally, organized at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, was attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, RJD President. Lalu Prasad, Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, CPI leader D. Raja and RJD youth leader Tejashwi Yadav also addressed.

It is noteworthy that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Marxist Communist Party (CPI-M) leader Sitaram Yechury and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav participated in the ‘Jan Vishwas’ rally organized in Patna on Sunday. Participated in the rally. This rally, organized at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, is being seen as a show of strength by the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India) before the Lok Sabha elections.

A huge crowd of supporters of the ‘Grand Alliance’ (which included Congress, RJD and Left parties) was seen at the rally venue. This ‘Jan Vishwas Rally’ of RJD has been organized at the conclusion of the statewide ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav. Slogans like ‘Job means Tejashwi’ were echoed during the rally in support of Tejashwi Yadav, who has expressed commitment towards employment generation.
