Narenda Modi again on PR mode for COVID-19: Little or nothing done

Has Modi Government gone into a PR over drive and delivered little to none on ground yet again. If this student stuck in Florence, Italy has to be believed, Indian government hasn’t been as proactive as it claims.

As claimed by the student on twitter under his twitter handle @LiveOutEveryDay, he has cornered the Indian government about lack of steps which are being taken for Indian citizens excluding students who are stuck in Italy since COVID tests are not being facilitated by the embassy. Withouth the certificate, they can’t travel.

The twitter user has also slammed the news agency ANI for praising the Indian government without knowing the real facts. In its story, ANI has reported that evacuate all stranded Indian nationals will be evacuated by Air India.

According to the user, as all Indians were not tested, so there was no question of evacuating all of them.

So, if the facts put up by him are true, then what PM Modi is doing appears to be a mere headline grabbing PR exercise. Instead of providing help to the people stuck in foreign countries, just a publicity stunt is being done.
