It is being told that Sushil were pressurizing them to evacuate the house where Sagar and his friends lived. There was a fight over this matter. An FIR of murder, abduction and criminal conspiracy was registered against Kumar.

Sagar died in this dispute. His family says that Sushil was present there at the time of the incident. Police sources say the victims were forcibly taken inside the stadium. They were beaten up and taken to the stadium’s parking area. Police sources claim that Sushil was present there during all this. However, the police are investigating Sushil’s role.

According to the police, the brawl took place between Kumar, Ajay, Prince, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others in the parking area. Thereafter, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Arms Act at Model Town police station in this regard, they said in a statement.

Police found a loaded double barrel gun and live cartridges in addition to 5 vehicles from the scene. Police interrogated two wrestlers, including Sushil’s partner Prince Dalal, in custody. Prince Dalal was arrested after questioning.

Sushil Kumar Absconding :

Delhi Police raided Delhi-NCR as well as neighboring states to arrest Sushil, but so far Sushil has not been arrested. The police have also questioned Sushil’s father-in-law and coach Satpal, along with their family members and acquaintances, in this case.

What Sushil and His Family Said:

Sushil had clarified the matter before disappearing. He said that he was not our fellow wrestler. We had informed the police officers that some unknown people are entering our premises and quarreling. Our stadium has nothing to do with the incident.

At the same time, when Sushil is absconding, his family says that Sushil’s name is being dragged wrongly. Sushil will come in front of everyone soon, he is not a fugitive. He is currently seeking legal advice. The first attempt is to avoid arrest, seeking advice from law experts for anticipatory bail.

On Sunday, the police issued a lookout notice against Sushil. The police gave information about it on Monday. Police have questioned 17 employees, including security guards working in the stadium, in this massacre. Most of them have given statements against Sushil and his associates.

Other controversies related to Sushil:

In December 2017, there was a fight between supporters of Sushil Kumar and Wrestler Praveen Rana during the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games trial. Praveen Rana also accused Sushil of assault. Sushil’s supporters also beat Praveen Rana. A case was also filed against Sushil Kumar and his supporters for assaulting Praveen Rana.

In 2016, Sushil Kumar dragged Narasimha Yadav to the Supreme Court for not getting the Rio Olympic ticket. Narasimha Yadav was selected for the 74kg category, but Sushil offered to send himself to the Olympics. Later, Narasimha failed in the dope test and no player in this category from India could compete in the Olympics.
