The Bihar government has extended the entire lockdown to 31 July in view of rising cases of corona virus. Emergency services are exempted from this. However, detailed guidelines regarding the lockdown were not released. It is likely to be released soon.
A proposal in this regard was prepared on Monday, on which a Crisis Management Group (CMG) meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar today for the final decision.
In this meeting, it was decided on what rules will be made regarding vehicle operation and whether public vehicles will be allowed to run again. Currently, the lockdown is in effect in a dozen districts, including the capital Patna, on July 16 or more.

At the same time, religious institutions have also not been allowed to open. Fruit and vegetable shops can be opened only in the morning and evening. Significantly, the administration concerned with Corona has implemented lockdown from July 10 to 16 in many districts of Bihar.
Bihar Corona Cases Rising Rapidly
Cases of corona virus in the state are increasing rapidly. In the last 10 days, there have been a record corona patients in Bihar. In this, many people have been found corona virus positive at the government residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
