India Records Largest Covid Deaths in Past 24 Hours

The corona epidemic in the country is now taking the form of havoc. On Wednesday, 919 more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country. For the second consecutive day, the country has witnessed the highest number of deaths in a single day. Earlier on Tuesday, there were 847 deaths.

According to data from the WorldoMeter, a website that monitors cases of corona infection worldwide, 3,957 more people have died due to the Covid-19 epidemic worldwide by 11.50 pm on Wednesday. Of these, the maximum 919 deaths occurred in India. At the same time, Mexico finished second with 857 deaths. While the US ranks third with 698 deaths. With this, if we talk about new cases in one day, by Tuesday, 11.50 pm, 1,49,160 new cases of corona have been reported worldwide. Of these, maximum 54,252 new cases have been found in India. At the same time, the US came second with 22,866 new cases.

While 9,397 new cases have been reported in Brazil in third place, the United States is ahead of India in terms of total infection cases with 49,41,286 cases and Brazil is second with 28,17,473 cases. The total cases of infection in India on Tuesday night crossed 19,60,865 lakh.

At the same time, the Union Health Ministry said that a total of 51,706 people were cured in the last 24 hours in a day from Covid-19 in India. This led to the recovery rate of infection on 67.19 percent on Wednesday and the death rate fell to 2.09 percent. The ministry said in a statement, the number of patients recovering has increased due to the Centre’s policy on more investigation, faster detection of contact with the infected and treatment.
