India Demands Pakistan to Hand Over Dawood

Date:

After Pakistan imposed stringent financial sanctions on 88 banned terrorist organizations and their bosses including Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar and Dawood Ibrahim, India has asked the neighboring country to immediately hand over the chief accused of the Mumbai bomb blasts to India.

According to the news of Pakistani newspaper ‘The News’, the government of Pakistan has recently imposed restrictions on 88 mentors and members of terrorist groups in compliance with the new list released by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Orders have been given to seize all the assets of these terrorist organizations and their masters and seal the bank accounts.

In June 2018, the Paris-based FATF put Pakistan on the ‘gray list’ and asked Islamabad to implement the action plan by the end of 2019 but this deadline was extended due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The BJP spokesperson said that this list of ‘terrorists’ of the Government of Pakistan is not just a list, but also a confession of their crimes.
