IIT Madras Offers 400 Free Online Courses

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras is offering free online courses for the July to December semester. Explain that the institute has started 400 free courses from May 20, 2020. Students who wish to apply for these free courses can register online through the official website. The official website is onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in. All 400 free online courses will be conducted on the National Program on Technology Enhancement Learning (NPTEL) portal under SWAYAM.

Details of Free Online Courses
  • 400 courses are open to all and the duration of the courses is from 8 weeks to 12 weeks.
  • The deadline to register for all 400 courses is until July 27, 2020, and courses will begin July 20.
  • The courses will end on September 1, 2020, and the exams for the courses will begin on September 27, 2020.
  • The exam will be conducted in two shifts – morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
