HRD Ministry Sets Guidelines For School Buses

Date:

Guidelines for school buses have been issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development for the arrival and departure of students. Only 25 children will be seated in a 55-seater school bus. One student will sit on one seat. This rule will apply to both one and two seats. At the same time, two students can sit on one seat in the school van. The school bus and van should have two feet differences between the two students. It is mandatory for all children to wear masks and globs while boarding the bus.

This guideline for school bus and van has been issued by the Ministry of Human Resources. It will be sent to all schools between June 15 and 20. Parents are being informed about this by the school. Every day school buses will be sanitized according to the standard set by WHO. In schools that have two gates, the school bus will be parked at different gates so that social distancing can be followed while boarding the leaving buses.
