Haryana’s Inspector General of Police (IG) Hemant Kalson has been arrested for allegedly abusing two women. Panchkula police has given this information.
The IG is alleged to have abused and assaulted the woman and her daughter in a drunken house in Rattapur Colony in Pinjore, Panchkula on Friday night.
In the information given to the police, the woman said, “IG Hemant Kalsan came to her house on the night of 21 August. A woman was also sitting in his car, IG came home and killed my daughter. I was taking a bath at that time. I came out and saved the daughter. “
After the uproar of IG in Pinjore late night, the people of the locality surrounded their car. After this, the police were called and asked to get a medical test of IG. After which the police took Hemant Kalsan to Pinjore police station amidst heavy opposition from the people.
Kalsan was earlier suspended by the state government for air firing during an election duty in Tamil Nadu.
