783 new corona cases have been reported in Gujarat, the highest single day spike till now which has taken the toll to 38,419 till now, while the death toll is nearing to 2,000 with 16 new deaths in the past 24 hours.
Also, 569 patients have been discharged from the hospitals taking the recovery to 27, 313.
149 New Cases in Ahmedabad City
With 149 new cases in Ahmedabad, the toll has reached to 22,418 on Wednesday while with 5 new deaths, the death toll has crossed 1500 mark in the city.
Minister Tests Corona Positive
Forest and Tribal Affairs Minister Raman Patkar, who is MLA from Umargam, has also tested positive. Earlier, senior congress MLA Bharatsinh Solanki was also tested positive, who has been put on ventilator after some breathing related problems were reported.
