Bhopal| Just a day after BJP forming the government in Madhya Pradesh and Shivraj Singh Chouhan swearing in as the CM, the Economic Offences Wing of Madhya Pradesh has closed down a case against Jyotiraditya Scindia, who has recently joined BJP, along with his 22 supporters. In this case, Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with one of his family member are accused of falsifying a property document while selling land, an official said on Tuesday.
The case was filed by Congress government on March 12, where EOW was trying to verify the facts afresh into the complaint in the case pertaining to a land sell in 2009, where Jyotiraditya and his family member were involved.
On March 12, Surendra Shrivastava filed a case against Scindia and his family, alleging that by falsifying a registry document and selling the land piece which was short by 6000 sq ft than the original agreement of 2009.
