A painful accident occurred near the village of Chhechna in Malawan police station area of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, where a part of the over bridge under construction collapsed and fell on passersby. In this horrific accident, 2 people, who were going in a pickup, died tragically on the spot. At the same time, two other people were seriously injured. After information, DM and SSP reached the spot and started rescue work immediately. Taking cognizance of the incident, CM Yogi has instructed the district administration to provide all possible help to the families of the deceased.
The portion of the overbridge under construction fell when the work of connecting the garter to the Hydra machine was being done. The driver of the Hydra machine was seriously injured when the part fell, while the pick-up vehicle passing under the overbridge was also buried under the garter. 2 people sitting in Max pickup were buried under the bridge. In this accident, both of them died on the spot.
