He informed that, at present, 25 percent of the total registered vehicles in Delhi are electric vehicles.
The Delhi government introduced the Electric Vehicle Policy in August 2020 to promote electric vehicles. Under this policy, the government launched a total of 6 thousand electric vehicles on the road between August and December. Along with this, the Delhi government is also providing many facilities for purchasing electric vehicles.
