Delhi University to Decide Soon on Dates of Final Semester Exams

Delhi University has decided soon regarding the dates of the final semester examinations 2021. DU has recently said in this regard that the final semester examinations will be decided in view of COVID 19 status. The final semester semester examinations of Delhi University are scheduled between May 2021 and June.

In a tweet, Delhi University wrote, “University of Delhi will conduct the final examinations( May-June 2021) in compliance with UGC guidelines and advisory from MoEd and MHA in view of the Covid-19. #StaySafeStayHealthy

Delhi University has also issued a notification in this regard. The university wrote in the official notice, “The health and safety of our students is our priority. The university will also take stock of the situation and a decision will be taken accordingly. The decision on DU final semester examination 2021 will be taken soon as per UGC guidelines.

The university has further clarified that the university has already decided that the decision regarding the mid-term semester examinations will be taken later. Apart from this, the university has advised the students to contact DU’s official website for any information only. It has advised students not to fall prey on any rumors.

Apart from this, according to a recent media report, DU teachers are demanding the postponement of these examinations proposed in May. In this regard, Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) has written a letter to Vice Chancellor Prof. PC Joshi. Duta has demanded in the letter that along with postponement of examinations, the deadline for submission of internal assessment should also be extended.
