Delhi University has issued an important notification regarding the examinations. According to this notification, Delhi University will not conduct examinations for intermediate semester students. Second and fourth semester undergraduate students will not have to take the exam. First and second year undergraduate students will be promoted without examination.
These students will be promoted to the next class based on internal assessment, submission of assignments and previous year’s marks. Alternative means will be adopted for their grading. Students will be given 50 percent of the numbers for internal assessment and assignment and the remaining 50 percent will be given on the basis of previous semester and previous year’s performance. DU has issued detailed notification regarding this.
Delhi University Open Book Exam From July 1
DU will have open book examinations from July 1 to July 11. This decision has already been taken in view of the situation arising due to Corona virus. However, it is also being opposed. Students have to take two-hour exams instead of three. Apart from this, an additional time of one hour will be given for downloading the paper and uploading the answer books. Students have to upload their answer book on the website within three hours of the commencement of the examination.
