Days before the starting of state assembly session, 23 MLAs and ministers in Punjab have been tested corona positive. Significantly, the state assembly session is going to start after two days.

Referring to the central government’s move to allow the conduct of JEE and NEET exams, Amarinder said, “If this is the situation of state legislators and ministers, then you can imagine how serious the situation will be at the ground level.”

Talking about the state of Punjab, 44577 cases of Corona have been reported from here, out of which 29145 people have recovered. The number of active cases of Corona in the state is 14254. Due to Corona, 1198 people have lost their lives in the state. Talking of the country, the total number of infected in India has crossed the figure of 32 lakhs. The total number of infected people has reached 32,34,474 till Wednesday morning. At the same time, 67,151 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours (Tuesday 8 am to Wednesday 8 am), during which 1059 people have died.
