Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar donated Rs 25 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative ‘Prime Minister’s Relief Fund’ as an ongoing fight against the Corono virus epidemic. After this, his wife and actress Twinkle Khanna tweeted, that while taking this decision, what Akshay said has made her proud.
Twinkle Khanna wrote, ‘I am proud of this person (Akshay Kumar). When I asked him if he really wanted to give such a huge amount, because we would have to break many funds. To this, Akshay said- I had nothing when I started my career and now that I am on this situation, how can I get back from doing something for people who have nothing? .
The man makes me proud. When I asked him if he was sure as it was such a massive amount and we needed to liquidate funds, he just said, ‘ I had nothing when I started and now that I am in this position, how can I hold back from doing whatever I can for those who have nothing.’ https://t.co/R9hEin8KF1
