Corona Havoc : India Adds Almost 10 Lakh Cases in Past 3 Days

The havoc of Corona infection does not seem to stop in the country. More than three lakh cases have been reported in the country for the third consecutive day. On Friday, a total of 3.46 lakh cases were reported in the country and a record 2600 people died.

With this, the total number of cases in India has reached 9.94 lakhs in three days, which is a record so far. This has not been seen in any country in the world till now. Earlier in the US, four lakh and more than three lakh cases were reported on two different days.

This was the fourth consecutive day when more than 2000 deaths occurred in the country.

On Thursday, 79,719 cases were reported in Brazil, 62,642 in the US and 54,791 cases in Turkey. These countries are considered to be the most affected by Corona, but India has left all of them far behind. It is a matter of concern that in 24 hours, a total of 8.9 lakh cases were reported in the whole world, out of which 37 per cent are from India alone.

State-wise, the maximum number of cases were reported in 15 states and union territories on Friday. These states include – Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, p. Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Chandigarh.
