In Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a truck hit a DCM full of migrant laborers, killing 23 workers. 15 people are injured in this incident. The injured have been sent to the District Hospital and Saifai PGI. District administration is present on the spot.
As per the sources, they were returning from Rajasthan when the truck in which they were coming collided with another truck at around 3.30 AM in the morning.
This accident is another after repetitive road accidents across the country where migrants have died including the accidents at Meerut and Guna
The government has said in its statement a day ago to Supreme Court that no migrant is on the road and the government has provided food to about 23 lakh people including migrant workers.
