Bhopal| Amid increasing number of corona cases in the state and increasing tally of COVID-19 cases among police officials in the state, order has been released to shut down all the police head quarters in the state.
The number of corona cases in the state is increasing higher and there had been three deaths of police officials in the past one week due to the virus, the recent being yesterday of a station in-charge posted in Ujjain. Apart from the state police officials, a big number of IAS officers have also been tested positive in the state, including the chief health secretary of the state.
The opposition has been continuously targeting the government for running the state without a state cabinet, after which a small cabinet of 5 ministers was appointed yesterday to save face, but still Madhya Pradesh has not got a health minister as no new minister of the state was given the charge of this most critical department at present.
The number of corona cases in the state has state is 1552 with 80 deaths recorded till now. There had already been allegations of slower test rates in the state.
