After speculations being raised across the country when ICMR wrote a letter to make the Corona vaccine by 15 August 2020 and many of the scientists claiming it to be factually impossible, a new timeline has been setup for the corona vaccine being researched by Bharat Biotech.
As per the reports, the vaccine trials will begin from July 13 and it will take around one year and three months to be ready. Putting this together, one may conclude that the vaccine will be out for people not before November 2021.
The latest timeline has been given by Bharat Biotech. It will take six months to complete the first two phases. Earlier, ICMR had given a deadline of August 15, on which many questions were raised. In the clinical trial registry, Bharat Biotech needs to mention their plan, the sample size which is about 1125 people. The phase 1 and phase 2, whose permission has already got clearance will take around. As per the initial reports, Bharat Biotech has said that these two phases are going to take more than six months.
