104 Former Bureaucrats Write to Yogi Adityanath on ‘Love Jihad’ Law

More than a hundred former bureaucrats have written a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in which they have asked CM Yogi to withdraw the ‘Uttar Pradesh Laws Against Religion Conversion Prohibition Act, 2020’.

104 former bureaucrats have signed in this account. One of these signatures is that of former National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon. Apart from this, big names like former Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, former Prime Minister Advisor TKA Nair are also included.

It has been written in this statement that- “Uttar Pradesh, which once watered the Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb … now hatred, division … has become the center of the politics of bigotry.”
