WhatsApp Web to Require Biometric Verification

WhatsApp has added an additional security feature to WhatsApp Web and Desktop, enhancing the security of WhatsApp Web or Desktop. WhatsApp users will now have to do their verification first to open their account on web or desktop. After this feature is rolled out, users will have to give permission using fingerprint scanning or face recognition after linking their account to WhatsApp web. This feature of WhatsApp could be launched globally in the coming weeks.

WhatsApp is also updating the UI for WhatsApp Web in its app. Along with this, WhatsApp can soon add multi device login feature as well. Please tell that now you can login your WhatsApp account on one computer or laptop at a time. But this will not happen in the coming time. WhatsApp’s Android users will be able to use face or fingerprint unlock for verification of WhatsApp web or desktop.
