Vasundhara May Resign from BJP With 50 MLAs

Date:

Former CM Vasundhara Raje may leave BJP at any time along with 50 party MLAs. This has worried BJP and in turn the saffron party has shifted its 20 MLAs to Gujarat.

In the political battle of Rajasthan, BJP is now worried and it has to make efforts to unite its MLAs. In the same sequence, BJP has sent about 20 of its MLAs to Gujarat to prevent them from changing the sides

Raje has met BJP President JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh and BL Santosh in Delhi in the past few days.

Raje’s interactions with the party’s top brass assume significance as she has largely maintained silence and kept away from BJP meetings in Jaipur since the crisis within the Congress government in the state erupted last month.

With the day of the strength test in the assembly coming to a close, the BJP has started the exercise to keep its MLAs together. According to sources, the BJP is afraid that some of its MLAs may change the house, so on Friday night, BJP has shifted at least 20 of its MLAs to Gujarat.

It is said that among the MLAs sent to Gujarat, there are about a dozen MLAs from Jalore, Sirohi and Udaipur divisions. They have been shifted to a resort in Ahmedabad on Friday night, while six MLAs have been sent to Porbandar in a chartered flight from Jaipur Airport.

Rajasthan BJP President Satish Punia has accepted that their MLAs are getting offers and they have shifted them from the state to prevent cross-voting.
