In the midst of the ongoing lock down across the country, daily wage laborers are facing the most difficulty. Taking another big step, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has transferred more than 611 crore rupees in the account of MNREGA workers. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had already announced this earlier.
In view of the rising outbreak of Corona virus, ensuring that MNREGA laborers do not face any problem, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already issued the first installment of Rs.1000 to the daily wages of more than 20 lakh laborers in his account through DBT. The Chief Minister started the Labor Maintenance Scheme from his government house only last week.
