The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the recruitment to the 363 posts of Principal. Through this direct recruitment, 363 posts of Principal were to be filled in the Education Department of Delhi Government. The commission issued a notice on its website saying, ‘Advertisement number 07/2021, vacancy number 21040701324, published on 24 April in employment news is postponed due to circumstances arising due to the spread of corona virus. It will be published later. ‘
Earlier, UPSC has also postponed the Civil Services Examination 2020 interview going on from April 26 due to Corona. Apart from this, the EPFO Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer recruitment examination to be held on May 9, 2021 has also been postponed.
The Commission has said that in the current circumstances (corona infection and lockdown) it will not be possible to conduct interviews and recruitment examinations. The Commission also postponed the IES / ISS Exam 2020 (Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020) to be held between April 20 and April 23 until further orders.
The Commission has said that wherever the recruitment examinations and interviews are to be held and where the candidates and consultants have to travel, the conditions will be reviewed from time to time. Revised schedule of recruitment examinations and interviews will be released on the UPSC website. Candidates will be informed 15 days before the postponed examinations and interviews begin.
