UP Government Changes Land Acquisition Act 2013

In the Corona crisis, the UP government will take many more important decisions for industries. It has been decided that the Land Bank will be extended and the revenue code will be amended for this. It has also been decided to change the Land Acquisition Act-2013 to acquire land within a distance of one kilometer on both sides of the expressway and to simplify the process. With this, it has been decided to provide land soon to develop a large electronics city near Jewar International Airport.

Under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana recently held a meeting with Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari along with the Chief Officers of 18 Departments including the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development. In this, all the departments have agreed on many decisions for industries.

The Finance Department has suggested that the land of closed PSUs units be auctioned. A legal test will be conducted once. On joining the Industrial Development Authorities of Revenue Villages, it has been asked to prepare a proposal for incorporating the public lands of these Gram Sabhas into the respective Development Authorities.

It has also been asked to prepare a proposal for amending the revenue code and allowing the leasing of agricultural land for industrial units-industrial parks. As per suggestion, the proposal to keep land use change fee of agricultural land for industrial units maximum 15 to 20 percent will be implemented soon.

The suggestion to establish a modern integrated industrial township with mixed land use will be implemented soon. The Revenue Department should fix the responsibility of rights for the early disposal of the proposals received from the industrial units for the reclamation of land and for the purchase and purchase of land. The posts of deputation in industrial development authorities should be filled soon. Along with this, services of experts / professionals should also be obtained by the authorities.

Department of Industrial Development completed its flagship projects such as Trans Ganga Project being developed by UPCIDA, Saraswati Hitech City Project, Mega Food Park Project in Bareilly, Logistic and Transport Hub Projects in Greater Noida Region and Multi Model Terminal Project in Varanasi Will do it.

Recently, the state government recently changed labor laws and exempted newly established industries from labor laws for three years. The draft of its amendment ordinance has been approved by the Cabinet and sent to the Governor and the President. This will facilitate the newly established industries to develop.

Apart from this, the state government has also decided in the past that exporters who will increase their exports by 50 per cent, get incentive money up to Rs 1 crore, annual freight reimbursement of 2 crores for transporting goods to the port, 50 on sending goods by truck Lakhs will be reimbursed annually. Similarly, it has been decided to create a separate fund for reimbursement of maximum 25 lakhs for sending goods from air cargo of Lucknow and Varanasi, giving green card to exporters, market research and data base.
