Trump Wants to Invite G-7 Countries After Presidential Elections

Twitter Suspends Trump's Account Permanently

US President Donald Trump has said that after the presidential election in November, he wants to host a group of seven major industrialized nations (G-7) and for this he also wants to invite Russia.Earlier Russia was forced out of this group after the annexation of Crimea. Even the European Union has said in June that Russia should not be allowed to rejoin the group.

During a press conference at the White House, Trump said, “I want to do it after the election.” He said that due to corona virus, the meeting could be held face to face or through tele-conference. He said, they have told their employees that they will hold a summit after the election. Before Russia was evacuated in 2014, it was called the G8.

Trump said he plans to invite Russia, Australia, South Korea and India to the summit this year. Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain and the United States are members of the G7. The European Union of 27 countries also participates in its meetings.
