Shame: Meerut Hospital Denies Treatment Of Muslims

Meerut: The corona pandemic has initiated from Wuhan in China and has now engulfed entire world under it. It has not left any person on the basis of caste, religion or race, but is deadly for the entire human race. In such a tough time, when the entire world seems to be united in the fight against COVID, there are certain instances where people are trying to divide the society in the name of caste or religion. India has become a sorry state for such cases, where either a certain community is being considered to be responsible for the spread of the infection, or they are being distinguished in the treatment.

A shameful incident has come to light from Meerut, in Uttar Pradesh, where a private hospital has banned the treatment of patients belonging to Muslim community and they have been considered as carriers of corona virus.

The hospital has advertised in this regard, which went viral on social media. After the uproar on various platforms, the hospital has apologized by clarifying in the same newspaper. In the meantime, Meerut Police has issued instructions for action against the newspaper.

A similar case was reported in Gujarat where the patients had been segregated into two different wards on the basis of their religion.
