Congress MP Shaktisinh Gohil Says Different Rules exist For BJP even when Article-14 states that “Law is equal for all

Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil, on Wednesday during a press conference, stated that Different Rules For BJP exists even when Article-14 of Indian Constitution states that “law is equal for all”. He Highlighted that BJP MP Naranbhai Kachhadia was sentenced to three years imprisonment by a court in Amreli for assaulting a doctor at a government hospital in 2013 but he was not disqualified under The Representation of The People Act straightaway & MP was saved from the Supreme Court via some compensation amount was decided to the victim.

However, the amount of time which was given to the BJP representative was enough for him to got relief from the Supreme Court but the same approach was not followed in Rahul Gandhi’s case he claimed.
