Shaheen Bagh protest area was attacked today by a miscreant who threw a bottle filled with some chemical at a police barricade.
The man came from the residential lanes near the protest site and fled immediately after throwing the bottle.
In the meantime, Shaheen Bagh people too took some measures to fight against COVID-19. The people sanitised the main tent regularly and the schools, library have been closed down. Health experts have also been called to give awareness about the virus.
The Shaheen Bagh Official twitter handle also tweeted to announce the closure with a promise to be back for the protest once the COVID-19 pandemic danger is over.
We are committed to cooperating with the law of the land and request all our well wishers and sympathisers to abide by the same. We are all in this together. We will come back stronger. This is not over. (4/4)#JantaCurfewMarch22 #covidindia #ShaheenBaghProtests pic.twitter.com/tDZYjwvNjL
